Chuck has been with DC Bates Equipment for almost 14 years. He has added to his education by completing a Basic Welding course at Old Colony Vocational, and both a Manual Drafting and a Basic Computer Programming course at Southeastern Massachusetts University. He is also a certified in AutoCAD (2-D) Computer Aided Drafting from Bristol Community College. Chuck is a trained Machinist and prior to joining our team he worked as a mechanical inspector, maintenance mechanic, electro-mechanical engineering tech, nuclear QA/QC technician, acoustic engineering tech, and a production engineering technician. His work skills include: manual milling & turning, CNC milling & turning, flat & cylindrical machine grinding, welding, drafting (Manual & AutoCAD 2-D), electrical - 12/24 VDC & 120/240 VAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, and non-CDL driver up to 26,001 lbs. Outside of work, Chuck enjoys golfing, comedy shows and live theatre - both plays & musicals. Chuck has been with D.C.
