Also, I would be willing to remove some of the accessories listed from the package and negotiate on the price of the notebook if interested. (This does not mean I will part out accessories to sell prior to selling the notebook. If there are accessories left over after the sale of the notebook, I will post them in a new thread.) Thank you.

I have no need for two notebooks, so I'm finally selling off my older of the two. Replacement batteries appear to be readily available on eBay and other online retailers. * HP does not provide Windows XP drivers for this notebook, they report it is not a supported configuration. I have run Windows 98, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP on the notebook without any problems. The laptop is currently running Linux (Fedora Core 1). In addition, I am including these accessories: - Two (2) HP F1738A Port Replicators () I used to keep one @work and one @home for convenience.

I have not been able to find this model for sale on eBay recently, so I was a bit unsure on how to price it. I am basing the price on notebooks of similar spec and the additional accessories included. If you are seriously considering purchasing the notebook, and feel I am off base on price, please email me an offer and the basis behind your offer, and we can discuss it.
[This message was edited by Pervis on December 28, 2003 at 13:48.]. How many USB/Firewire ports? The notebook itself has one USB port, one PS/2 port, and no firewire ports. While in the port replicator, there are two USB ports, two PS/2 ports, and no firewire ports. What is the largest capacity internal HD it supports? Gee, I wouldn't even know where to find that information.
Wouldn't it be a function of the BIOS and what it can address? How heavy is it? It weighs 6.6 lbs. What resolution is the LCD? The LCD supports 1024x768x64K colors, and is driven by a Silicon Motion LynxEM 4MB video card.
I'd be happy to answer any additional questions you may have, or there is also a document on HP's website which may provide additional information. When refering to the website, the specific model is F1667WT.
