Was given a little resource from someone and figured I would share. I know a few folks on here have Diamondbacks, and this could benefit them. 1966 — D1001 1967 — D2600 1968 — D — D — D — D — D — D — D — D — D72251-D — N01001-N — N01801-N — R — S65863 It's a shade incomplete, because the Diamondback was manufactured until 1986. Naturally, it would be safe to assume that if your serial comes after the last in this list, yours is between 1979 and 1986.
